We’ve spent years working alongside organizations tackling some of the hardest, most important issues of our time. That work has taught us that a website plays so many important roles in the pursuit of social impact. It’s a tool people use to find help, get involved, feel seen, and build trust and engagement. We bring bold, human centred design and thoughtful strategy to every project, grounded in the lived experiences of the people you serve.
Tailored for non profits and social impact campaigns
Small teams, tight budgets, and big goals aren’t new to us. We’ve seen what happens when a website gets built without any of that in mind, tools nobody has time to learn, generic images that don’t reflct your audience, features nobody asked for. We build differently, with a clear sense of what actually matters to an organization that needs every dollar and every hour to count.
Co-creation and community testing
A website meant for a community works best when that community actually helped shape it. For projects like health navigation tools, resource directories, or anything meant to serve people directly, we build in time for user testing and co-creation with the groups who’ll actually use the site. That might mean a facilitated session where community members click through an early prototype and tell us what’s confusing, a round of interviews to understand how people actually search for help, or ongoing feedback loops as the site takes shape. The goal is a site that works the way real people navigate it, not just the way we or you assume they will.
Imagery reflective of your community
Stock photos and generic templates can only get you so far. We create rich custom illustration, original photography, and creative direction so your site actually feels like the people and communities behind it. Every image should reflect your brand and represent the diversity of the audiences you serve, not just fill space.
And we’ll never create your graphics or imagery using AI. This work is made by real illustrators, photographers, and creatives who take the time to understand your story and bring it to life honestly.

We build with the tools you already trust, like donation platforms such as Zeffy or CanadaHelps and mailing list tools like Mailchimp. We’ll build your site to fit how you already work.
Capacity-building built in
Not a developer? Good, you don’t need to be. We build every site on WordPress, our preferred platform, using a front end editing system that lets your team make updates yourselves, no code required. If Squarespace is a better fit for your organization, we’re happy to work there too.
We provide documentation and virtual training sessions when your site launches, and we’re glad to run another session down the road if new staff come on board and need to get up to speed. You shouldn’t have to start from scratch every time someone new joins your team.
Not a designer? We’ve got you there too. We’re always happy to build out custom Canva and Mailchimp templates so your newsletters, social posts, and campaigns stay look just as sharp and on brand as your new site.

We begin with a discovery call to learn about your mission, goals, constraints, and the communities you serve. You’ll complete a detailed intake form so we can understand the nuances your work and organization. This stage helps us align on scope, content, and what success looks like for you and your users.
Design
We craft a custom design that reflects your brand, values, and vision. Every design decision is rooted in accessibility and usability, ensuring the site works for the people who rely on it most. We collaborate closely with your team to make sure the look, feel, and structure serve your audience and your message, before we start the build.
Develop
Your website takes shape using best practices in accessibility, responsiveness, and performance. We integrate the features you need and conduct testing throughout, focusing on how real users will navigate, engage, and take action. You’ll receive a preview link to review the site and provide feedback before launch.
Launch
After your approval, your site goes live. It is secure, polished, and ready to support your work. We handle the technical details and support you with a collaborative launch plan that builds excitement and helps connect with your audience.
Training & Support
We provide virtual training sessions and clear documentation so your team feels confident managing the site going forward, and we’re glad to run it again if your staff changes down the road. We can also include social media and newsletter templates to help you maintain a strong, consistent presence across channels. Our support team is available for post launch tweaks, troubleshooting, or enhancements.
